I wanted to see how I would approach this if I were making this UI for a new game that could have more characters added. This was completely unnecessary and added way too much time to the project. Have one component to parse the skill data and generate the trees dynamically (rather than hardcode each character). Mine still isn’t perfect, but I think it gets the job done.Ĥ. Learn Vuex - this is a data store that can be used when making single page apps with the Vue javascript framework. These were the things I wanted to learn and goals I had when starting it:ġ. I know that without skill values it won't be too useful. The D2 skill data file is a bit of a monster and a pain to read, so at some point I'm going to go through it and translate it into a more modern table design. The biggest things it's missing are skill values and a save function. There are still some features I'd like to add and it's far from perfect, but I figured I might as well get it out there in case anyone finds it useful.
